Let me share with you a little backstory-

The beginning of sewing. My love for sewing was inspired by my mom. I took a sewing class in high school and modeled a few of my sewing creations at our local mall along with my classmates.  When I became a mom I bought my first sewing machine. I was so intimidated by that machine and all of the buttons that I let it sit in the box for over a year, never removing the plastic wrap from the box. My mom found out I had a new machine sitting in a box and offered to help me set it up. I took the box and my kids to her house, she patiently taught me how to get started and the rest is history.  I still remember the very first outfit I made. It was for my first daughter for Easter. It was a yellow and white seersucker dress with a white coverall apron and pantaloons. On one of the pockets of the apron I had sewn a duck shape made from the seersucker fabric. The sewing projects were endless from that point— Formal dresses for my girls and a matching outfit for their dolls, overalls for my boys, hats and drawstring bags to match the girls outfits, shirts, curtains etc.  After all these years, sewing is still a hobby I enjoy and I love that sewing is part of the farm products and I get to make creations with you in mind!
